Cindy Dymond, co-founder and consultant
Cindy is a lawyer and mediator who believes in building community through singing together. Since joining the Echo Women's Choir five years ago and catching the community music bug, she has sung with hundreds of people in many different choirs, workshops, camps, concerts and community events in the UK, Italy, South Africa, the U.S and especially Canada. When she is not busy singing, she now organizes, plans, advises, promotes and advocates community choral music events, concerts and courses whenever possible. She helped to organize the 2004 Canadian tour of the Polokwane Choral Society with the Friends of South Africa Performing Arts organization, the summer lunchtime Music Mondays concert series in Toronto, the Holy Trinity Cultural Series, WorldSongs Vocal Camp and workshops and various other special musical events. Cindy believes that we all have a voice in the cosmic choir and that finding our notes in that choir is our natural and transcendent role in the universe. |
